The Michigan State Spartans (7-1) are riding a six-game winning streak, last losing to Duke by seven in their second game of the season. The Spartans average 81.5 points per game on 50.2% shooting while allowing opponents to score only 62.3 points per contest.

Five Michigan State players average at least ten points per game. Nick Ward and Miles Bridges both average 14.6 ppg. Ward is shooting 68.3% from the field while both he and Bridges pull down over six rebounds per game. The Spartans pull down 42.9 rebounds as a team, led by Jaren Jackson’s 7.8 per game. The Scarlet Knights of Rutgers (6-2) have dropped their last two games, falling 89-67 to Minnesota in their last game. Rutgers puts up 72.9 points per game and holds opponents to 56.3. The Scarlet Knights turn the ball over 11 times per game, but are shooting only 41.3% from the field and 26.4% from beyond the arc.
